OPAHL is a songwriter, producer, vocalist, visual artist and creative consultant from Norway, currently based in Los Angeles. With a musical upbringing and Grammy-award winning mentors like Stargate, Autumn Rowe and Sarah Hudson, OPAHL developed a sharp instinct for catchy songs and attention-grabbing concepts. With a passion for bringing out the best in people, OPAHL has become a trusted co-writer and collaborator for artists across genres like pop, trap, hip hop, alt-pop, hyperpop, electropop, pop-R&B, metalcore and punk.

In addition to writing for other artists, OPAHL delivers demo and ghost vocals for a variety of projects and is your go-to topliner for in-your-face and sassy music styles, such as hyperpop, rap, K-pop and EDM. Her edgy vocal sound has been compared to that of Ashnikko, Charli XCX, and Tommy Cash, ranging from youthful pop vocals to melodic rap and scream-singing. As a producer, OPAHL focuses on vocal production, song starters and sound effects.
“I rarely plan out what I’m going to write about. I trust that words and melodies will flow once I get on the mic. I have trained myself to be radically honest and vulnerable on the spot. Let the song take me wherever it wants to go.”
Lately, OPAHL has also been working on her own avantpop project, a shameless exposé of her struggles (and victories) with trauma, mental illness, queerness, and purpose.

HOUSE OF OPAHL was founded as an umbrella organization for all of OPAHL's creative and community projects. HOUSE OF OPAHL currently offers consulting services for artists on matters regarding artist identity, creative direction, PR, release strategy, and more.
